Who operates Univents

  • 01Legal entity: Strategaiz Digital Automation Consultancy W.L.L. (State of Qatar), Commercial Registration No. 166101.
  • 02Address: Doha, Qatar (CR 166101).
  • 03Contact: univents.ph@gmail.com.
  • 04Univents is a product of that Qatar company, not a Philippine company, and it does not process payments, hold deposits, or run escrow; names in the directory that nobody has claimed are not members and are not verified.
01

Who we are

Univents is operated by Strategaiz Digital Automation Consultancy W.L.L. (State of Qatar), Commercial Registration No. 166101, with registered address at Doha, Qatar (CR 166101). We act as the personal information controller for the data described in this policy.

For any privacy question or request, email univents.ph@gmail.com. We reply within 2 business days.

02

What we collect and why

Account data

Your name, email address, phone number, city, and account role (organizer or supplier). We use this to create and secure your account, to identify you to the other side of a booking conversation, and to contact you about your activity on the platform.

Event brief data

The event type, guest count, event date, budget range, city, venue choice, and the equipment package our requirements engine computes from those inputs. We use this to size your rig, shortlist suppliers, and pass your request to the suppliers you select.

Supplier business data

Business name, city and service areas, categories, inventory items, capability claims, contact and web links, and verification status. Some supplier listings were compiled from publicly available sources before the business joined — see section 07.

Messages and quotes

The quotes suppliers send and the messages exchanged between organizers and suppliers on the platform. We store these so both sides have a record of what was agreed.

Technical data

Basic server and application logs — IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and error traces — used to keep the service running, secure, and debuggable.

03

Legal bases for processing

  • 01Consent — when you create an account, submit a brief, or send a message, you consent to the processing described here.
  • 02Contract necessity — processing needed to give you the service you asked for, such as routing your brief to selected suppliers.
  • 03Legitimate interest — keeping the platform secure, preventing abuse, maintaining transaction records, and maintaining an accurate directory of event suppliers in the Philippines, balanced against your rights.
04

How information is shared

  • 01When an organizer sends a brief, the suppliers selected in that brief can see the event details — event type, guest count, date, city, venue, budget range, and the computed equipment package — and can reply with a quote and messages.
  • 02Suppliers never see other suppliers' quotes. Each supplier only sees their own quote and their own message thread with the organizer.
  • 03Contact details are revealed to a supplier only once the organizer accepts that supplier's quote, so the two sides can coordinate the booking.
  • 04We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
  • 05We rely on service providers (processors) who handle data strictly on our instructions: a cloud hosting and database provider that stores the application data, and an email delivery provider used for account and notification emails.
  • 06We may disclose information where required by Philippine law, court order, or lawful request by a public authority.

Univents does not process payments, hold deposits, or provide escrow, so we do not collect or store card or bank details.

05

Retention

  • 01Account data is kept for as long as your account is active.
  • 02Briefs, quotes, and messages are kept as transaction history so both parties retain a record of what was requested and offered.
  • 03We delete or anonymise personal data on request, except where we must retain it to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or comply with a legal obligation.
06

Your rights under RA 10173

As a data subject you have the right to:

  • 01Be informed about how your personal data is processed.
  • 02Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • 03Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
  • 04Erasure or blocking of data that is unlawfully obtained, no longer necessary, or processed beyond what you consented to.
  • 05Object to processing, including withdrawing consent.
  • 06Damages for inaccurate, false, or unlawfully obtained personal data.
  • 07Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used electronic format.
  • 08Complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) if you believe your rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these, email univents.ph@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us what you need. We reply within 2 business days. Complex requests may take longer, and we will tell you if that is the case.

07

Business listings compiled from public sources

Part of the Univents supplier directory was compiled from publicly available sources — business websites, public social pages, and public directories — before those businesses joined the platform. These listings carry an "unclaimed listing" label and, where available, a link to the source.

If a listing describes your business, you can claim it to take control of the information, or request its removal by emailing univents.ph@gmail.com with the subject "Removal request" and the listing link. Every supplier profile also carries both actions directly on the page.

08

Children

Univents is not directed at children. The service is intended for people aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, email univents.ph@gmail.com and we will delete it.

09

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date below and, where the change is significant, announced to registered users by email.
